AAAwave 8 GPU Summary and final photos:
Here are a few final pictures after assembly and a summary at the bottom of the post.
SUMMARY:
It may not look like it, but it did take a few hours to put it together. The small screws were a bit tedious. But I am very happy with the quality and how it turned out. The dimensions are roughly 30 inches wide, by 14 inches tall, by about 14.25 inches deep (Give or take 1/8th inch). The only thing that would have been nice would be include the fan hub, or a fan adapter splitter cable to be able to power the fans. But really this would be on me for not realizing I needed it. It did not say it was included. Only the fans. I could also power some of them off my MB if I wanted to. Hopefully these fans will allow the cards to stay cooler and extend the life of the card and card fans.
If you are thinking of putting this together, I do recommend you have a 2.5mm hex wrench on hand. The one included was a little bit to soft and easily stripped. (Or I just like to tighten things to much 🙂 )
As for the Acrylic, it looks great but also does attract fingerprints. I needed to wipe it down after the install.
This case is also stackable, so if you want to add on to it you can. I think that is a really nice feature, although I don’t plan to use it myself. I also like how they included extra spare parts. I was very pleased to find no missing needed parts. They seemed to go overboard including extras to make sure that did not happen. That was very much appreciated.
Overall I give this case two big thumbs up!
Now I can get rid of my old ugly handmade frame.
