I just recently tried mining on a new Nvidia RTX2060 and ran into an error when trying to mine with it using KawPow miner. The error I was getting was “CUDA Error : Insufficient CUDA driver 10010”
This happened to be with using Kawpowminer 1.2.3 and the latest Nvidia Game ready driver.
I had no problems with my 10 series Nvidia cards and the 1660 series when mining, just this RTX 2060.
Insufficient CUDA driver 10010
CUDA Error : Insufficient CUDA driver 10010 Error: No usable mining devices found
Solution
The solution for me was pretty simple. I wanted to share as I did search a bit to find the answer. Instead of running the game ready driver, I went ahead and downloaded the “NVIDIA Studio Driver” form the Nvidia website HERE. After installing the latest version of the Nvidia Studio driver I no longer had the issue. I hope this helps.
The Studio driver I installed to fix this was :
NVIDIA STUDIO DRIVER Driver Version:451.77 Release Date:Thu Jul 16, 2020 Operating System:Windows 10 64-bit Language:English (US) File Size:562.03 MB
If you were seeing the same Cuda error I hope that helps.
